Expectations

- You are expected to be in class on time.

- The use of profanity will NOT be tolerated.

- Cell phones should not be visible in class.

- Respect each others person and belongings.

- Anyone caught cheating will receive an F.

- You are expected to use the class website to view assignment directions.

 

Classroom Procedures

- Homework is to be turned in as you walk in and sit in your assigned seat.

- Begin working on assignment on the board as you walk in.

- Do not wonder around or out of the classroom.

- Class work needs to be turned in before leaving class.

 

Absence and Tardy

- If you are absent or tardy it is your responsibility to get the work.

- Make up work will only be accepted for excused absences and tardy.

- Make up work should be turned in the following class.

 

Materials

- 3 Subject Spiral notebook 

- Composition notebook

- Pen or pencil

 

Course Objectives

- Students will learn to analyze historic events.

- Students will be able to describe responsibilities of individuals living in a democracy.

- Students will be able to explain the impact of history on our lives today.

- Students will identify major global issues facing the world today.

- Students will learn appropriate vocabulary, reference/study, and critical thinking skills.
